Let’s face it: Football can be unfair. So we teamed up with Betfair UK and football legend Dimitar Berbatov to bring some justice to the game with the VAR-Batov. To launch the activation, we released a video in which we surprised 3 unsuspecting fans to hear their stories and let Bulgarian footballer make the final call. Then, throughout the season, we invited fans to share their unfair football moments on social to receive the VAR-Batov’s judgment and win prizes like signed merch.
